Product Description
Our King Platform Storage Beds combine extra large drawers for plenty of storage space with a slat support system that requires only a mattress. Wood slats are positioned lengthwise to distribute body weight evenly, minimize the amount of motion transfer and take the place of a box-spring. Metal braces under the slats provide additional stability. Underneath are 6 large storage drawers (20" depth) that run on smooth running metal drawer glides. Drawers open easily with finger pulls located at the bottom of drawer fronts and knobs have been eliminated to prevent bedclothes from catching. They are large enough to hold anything you need to store: linens, blankets, clothes, socks and even shoes are just a few ideas. Overall bed height is 21 "used with an 8 thick mattress. This product is made from composite woods with plywood slats. It ships flat-packed (in three cartons) and self-assembly is required. Detailed and easy-to-follow instructions are included. Measures: 78.5 inches wide x 18.75 inches tall x 81.5 inches deep. CA King mattress will not fit this bed frame. COLOR OF THIS ITEM IS: ESPRESSO

 Great product, disappointing delivery July 27, 2010

The product was great. the instructions for assembly were clear and concise. My wife and I were able to assemble it quickly without any hassles.
My only grief with this order was with the UPS delivery. They showed up a couple days early when no one was home, left the boxes in my yard (this is in the city), and left my gate open. I get a fair amount of traffic past my house and anyone could have easily pulled a truck up and taken the whole shebang (i ordered both the drawer-bed and the matching headboard-shelves).
Needless to say, I was rather livid about how UPS handled the deliver and I realize that isn't the sellers fault, but there ought to be better instructions for delivery of these items (like requiring a signature or something).

After the second week of using this bed, some of the drawers cracked and they get stuck to where I can't get my stuff out of the drawers.
