 Great deal - smooth drawer action September 1, 2010

I was a little anxious at first as to what to expect, since it's essentially cheap furniture, and there are several plastic parts including the drawer runner which I thought might significantly reduce the quality. Having now used the furniture, in my kid's room for a few months (I also purchased the matching night stand), I am very satisfied with it. It looks nice, and the drawer action is very smooth and quiet which was a nice surprise. It took some time to assemble. The end result is great though. It looks just as advertised.

It looks descent, it was a little work to assemble, but that is because of the five drawers etc. Mine had a rear damaged drawer backings, missing plastic slider and knobs. If not for that, I would of given it a 3 star and not sure why companys use plastic drawer sliders vs center single metal one or why they did not suggest nailing the back of the drawer bottom panel as with out nails the drawer bottom will bow with levis towards the back of the drawer where a few nails seems to help relieve this problem now. I am hoping to get missing and one damaged rear drawer replaced as to have to ship this back for a replacement would be to much of a hassle so just make sure you like it first appearance is pleasant and not sure why one called wooden top yellow mine seem more like a natural wood grain. Bottom of one drawer was messed up fake wood was distorted other wise not a bad deal.

Natural maple is not exactly what I would call this. The top looks great, has a natural wood feel, it's the drawer handles that I have an issue with. They are not natural wood. They have a yellowish look, I feel a bit of a mustard color, although my husband doesn't feel it's quite that. Still, though, they don't look like wood and don't match the top, so I was a little disappointed, but I still give it three stars 'cause it still functions as a dresser, and doesn't look horrible. My husband put it together, and he's pretty good at constructing furniture and following instructions, and he had some mild difficulty. As for durability, I couldn't say. We bought it for our nursery, and the baby still isn't due for five weeks, so it hasn't had much use yet. Feels fairly durable, though.

I was looking around for awhile for a dresser for my son's room. When I saw this one and the price of it, I knew it was my winner. The quality vs. the price is amazing. The drawers slide in and out easily, it looks nice and doesn't look too cheap. It did take most of the afternoon to assemble. I would definitely recommend this for a baby or kids room.

My furniture arrived missing 3 pieces (maybe more I'm only at step 3 or 4 of 22) and the best this foreign company can do is fed ex ground the parts to me...I'll let you know what I think 5-7 business days from now. BS.
